Meet Jose

At age 10, José Ruelas, Jr. and his family migrated to San Diego from L.A. in search of a less stressful lifestyle in a beautiful beach setting. A well-rounded professional with experience across a spectrum of careers, José first attained his B.A. in Social Work from San Diego State University. He then spent the first half of his career honing the people skills that would qualify him to handle the most complex of real estate needs. Being a social worker taught him empathy, discernment, and tact through a variety of situations that required fairness and sensitivity.

 

Having recently obtained a master’s degree in accounting, José is now able to combine those people skills with some of the most valuable—and rare—knowledge an agent can offer their clientele. Well-versed in the complexities of financing, lending, and negotiation, he feels comfortable navigating an array of transactions while providing his clients with supreme guidance and support. Additionally, and more personally, José is also a professional tennis instructor, a skill that’s sharpened his approach to educating people off the court and in the market. José believes in helping his clients make the best decisions they can, and is committed to educating them through every step of the process.

 

Exuding energy and positivity, José grounds his upbeat approach with a strong dedication to hard work, honesty, and integrity.
