Fall 2021 is a great time to sell a home
The Fall of 2021 offers a great opportunity for homeowners to sell their home. Historically, people desire to sell their homes in the Spring and Summer, but the rewards for acting this Fall can be particularly enticing.

Traditionally, we see lower inventory in the fall months. This lower inventory tends to take place because kids are in school and families tend to move when school is out of session. This drop in inventory means less competition for sellers. Less competition leads to more buyers competing over fewer listings. When buyers out number sellers that tends to lead to higher sales prices.

As we move into the Fall of 2021 we’re seeing a tremendous amount of buyer demand leftover from summer. The lack of inventory over the last few years has prolonged buyers’ home searches. This fall we’ll see many buyers purchase homes who had hoped to already be settled in one by now.

A great reason to sell your home in the Fall of 2021 is the record low interest rates available to borrowers. Since buyers tend to buy based on affordable monthly payments, lower interest rates mean that buyers can offer sellers more money for their properties. Savvy buyers, who are looking to purchase for the long term, see the benefit of locking in a low interest. This also makes right now a great time to buy a home!

The Fall brings out serious home buyers. The buyers that we see in the Fall are ready to purchase a home. They’re not window shopping for the Spring. Let’s face it, football weekends are here through the Holiday Season so there is always something else for window shoppers to do with their time. Serious buyers make serious offers and close on their purchases. Why not ensure you’re working with these buyers?
